Residential project in Glencoe, Illinois

This project entailed a 2200 square foot two story addition to an existing tudor style house and was completed in 2019.
The structure is conventional wood frame bearing walls with stone veneer and open web joists.
The challange of this project was to engineer a series of steel WF moment frames to upgrade the lateral force system which had to be brought up to the latest code.
